My family and I have had our dog for quite some time now, sad to say I don’t know her age… She is an adult though. My Sursi is a Golden Retriever mixed with a St. Bernard. I know a lot of people are against it, but she is an outside dog, and we have her dog house on our patio, and her chain is attached to her dog house. She is always really energetic, and when we come home at any time, she get’s up and runs towards the garage and jumps. I have not seen it happen, but she has hurt her leg somehow, and I don’t know if that is the issue. I know there is a high chance, but there are no bruises or marks from the chain. She limps all the time and she doesn’t like to use her leg a lot, and she has a hard time getting up and sitting down on her bed.

\nWhen she get’s excited, she ignores the pain, so I can never really see anytime she’s hurting unless I sit in her bed with her, and pet her. (Her bed is very big, and it’s netted, but we have blankets for padding) I have tried and tried to find something on her leg that is different than the other leg, but I can’t find a thing!![\"\"](\"https:\/\/pupstoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/123.jpg\")

The only thing I can find is when I help her bend her knee, it pops, and her other leg doesn’t. I have done so much research and I can’t find anything that could be what she has. The only thing that is somewhat close, is hip dysplasia.

\nI know that St. Bernards and Golden Retrievers both are susceptible to hip dysplasia, and there is a high chance for them to get it. I know the only real way to know for sure, is to go to the vet, but we live far away from the vets around us, and they are all very expensive, and my parents don’t quite have the time to take her, and we aren’t close to poor, but the money is still crunched to get what we need.\u00a0I’m not asking for money, or sympathy, I just want my baby girl to be better again.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/pupstoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/111.jpg\")

\nFor right now, I am treating her leg for hip dysplasia because even if it’s not what she has, it can help her pain. I put a warm water bottle on her leg for fifteen minutes twice a day, and she seems to have some relief from that, and I massage her leg for ten minutes twice a day as well. If you can’t think of any advice, all is well, but if I may ask for prayers, I would much appreciate it. I’m sorry for such a long post, but I want all the help I can get.
